It seems like during the week, things just... collect. Piles of mail on my coatrack, books and pens on my dining room table, shoes... well... everywhere...
I heaved a deep sigh. The nap would have to wait.

This afternoon, I came home from a morning hike with some students and teachers from my school. I kicked off my hiking boots, ready for a nap. I was about to walk to my bedroom and settle in for a book and a snooze when I lifted my eyes and acclimated to the reality of my house.
It seems like during the week, things just... collect. Piles of mail on my coatrack, books and pens on my dining room table, shoes... well... everywhere... I heaved a deep sigh. The nap would have to wait.

Clutter is a problem! I have a closet clutter problem I am tackling today

My clutter problem is much more serious than yours. I need to tackle mine in stages and am currently in the inventory phase: what files have I actually accumulated? Once I have that list, I'll start going through each file to see what needs to be kept and what can be thrown away. And I think I will have some slices prompted by what I find. I hope you still have time for a nap after cleaning up your clutter.

What a terrible feeling “once you’re done you have only just begun.” Hope it didn’t take too long to fix up!

Yes, the clutter. Why does it always collect on surfaces that are so visible?

You are a better person than me... the nap would have won out. I am not sure how all those things accumulate, but just like now, the morning will illuminate them still waiting in the same place.
